Yoga is Connection
Yoga is any method or technique that allows you to connect with yourself and with anything in life, so that you feel healthier, more creative and alive, and more in touch with inner meaning and fulfillment.

Disconnection is painful
To be disconnected from yourself or from the things that are meaningful to you is very painful. It is one of the greatest causes of suffering.


There are many forms of yoga
There are many forms of yoga, some more physical and active, and others more meditative and passive. Even the active forms require that we develop a meditative approach, which means that we remain aware and present in everything we do.



It is important that you find the form and approach to yoga and meditation that suits your personality, ability and interests.
Meditation Enables Yoga
Meditation is a process in which the meditator meditates on the object of meditation in order to connect with and know that thing. The object of meditation can be your breath, a sound, a flower, a person, an idea or concept, or your self.
When we meditate on ourselves we cultivate greater self-awareness and gain self-knowledge. This is a powerful, joyful and aware state that radically transforms our sense of who we are and our entire lives.
